Countdown to Avalon – 14 Days to Go.

Over the next couple of weeks I’ll be showing you a few of my favourite photographs from the Australian International Airshows of the past.

This is the CA-27 Sabre, owned by the RAAF and operated by the Temora Aviation Museum. Unfortunately, this airshow looks like it will be its last in the air as parts for the ejection seat are now unavailable, and it is against RAAF policy to fly one of their aircraft with an inoperable seat. A great shame, however it has thrilled thousands of people over the last 6 years since its return to flight. Here it is during its display in 2013.
