Australia’s First Fokker D.VIII flies.

At around a quarter past four on Friday the 1st of April 2016, the first Australian based Fokker D.VIII took to the air for the first time.

Operated by Caboolture based museum The Australian Vintage Aviation Society, the aircraft flew three times on Friday and is powered by an original 1918 engine.
