Countdown to Avalon – 9 Days to Go.

Over the next couple of weeks I’ll be showing you a few of my favourite photographs from the Australian International Airshows of the past.

Another modern aircraft that will be at the show is the RAAF’s F/A-18 Hornet. The classic model has been in Australian service since the mid 1980’s and is due to be replaced in the not too distant future, so don’t miss this one! In 2013 I was very fortunate to fly with the RAAF’s 33 SQN in one of their KC-30 tankers, and this is certainly a sight civilians don’t often see.
